SAXOPHONIST
A graduate of the Howard University music program, Bernard played first tenor in the Howard University Jazz Ensemble. He was featured on numerous albums and toured Japan with the university big band. In the fall, he had the opportunity to perform in China and tour Shanghai and Beijing with the George Mason University Jazz Ensemble.

Bernard has shared the stage with Donald Byrd, Billy Harper, Eddie Henderson, Jimmy Heath, Yusuf Lateef, and Phil Woods among others. He has been a featured soloist at the Strathmore Mansion, the Sylvan Ampitheatre, and the International Saxophone Symposium. He continues to perform at numerous clubs and venues in the greater Washington D.C. metropolitan area.
